OCEAN (2020)
Self-directed Project
Ocean is a video narrative about interviewees’ thoughts of the ocean. I interviewed three people about why they like or hate the ocean and created an around 6 minutes video by After Effects. I want to display the public review, the faces, and vision of the ocean. Through the power of the visual and sound, let the audiences realize the present and think about the future world.
Challenge
The challenging part of this project is the audiovisual interaction. I neededto study the interviewees’ responses thoroughly and use visual language toconvey the interviewees’ content to the audience. It was a triad of textual,auditory and visual interaction. As a designer, I needed to understand themeaning of the text and convey it to the audience in a common sense visuallanguage that is easily understood by the public.
